Mike’s Birthday Blast

For: Family

Every mom desires to prepare birthday parties for her beloved kids, and I am not an exception. I love more than desire to have a simple, yet memorable and exciting birthday party for my son, Mike. So what are in my checklist?

The first thing that I will be considering is the venue. Maybe, the lawn is perfect, and I hope it will not rain on the bid day. The next to ponder on is the theme of the party itself. My son will be turning seven this year, so kids that age really loves to lay, and collect toys. My son loves his collection of dinosaurs, so perhaps, I can consider having a “Jurassic Land” party atmosphere. Wouldn’t it be thrilling enough for the little guests?

The next stop is the cake. Since my son is much more imaginative than ever, I would probably bake a cake with a big T-rex on top of it and a seven candles surrounding it. The name in the cake will be made from blue icing, and candy sprinkles will add color on it. The menu will be consist of spaghetti, fried chicken, hamburger, French fries, and of course everyone’s favorite dessert, ice cream. This may seem so unhealthy, but what the heck, it’s the kids’ taste that rules!

Clown is a “no-no,” so most likely I would ask my husband, Adam, to find a dino costume to match the theme. Little kids may not be happy about mascots anymore compared to children ages four to five years old, but a party without a mascot would be as boring as having veggies for lunch (well, kids can say!). And to top it all, games will be prepared for more fun and elation! I would ask my son to invite his classmates for his big party. His teachers can come, as well as our relatives and neighbors. When my birthday preparations for my son will go smoothly, this party will definitely be a blast!
